"恒创"二字，取义"恒以致远，创以致新"。恒，是工程人对质量的长期主义——一座桥要站立几十年，一条输电线要可靠几十年，一个工艺要经得起时间检验。创，是工程人对进步的持续追求——没有新的材料、新的工法、新的设备、新的协同方式，工程就会停滞。The name Hengchuang takes its meaning from "persistence carries us far, innovation carries us forward." Persistence is the engineering profession long-term commitment to quality - a bridge must stand for decades, a transmission line must remain reliable for decades, and a process must withstand the test of time. Innovation is the engineering profession continuous pursuit of progress - without new materials, new construction methods, new equipment, and new forms of collaboration, engineering comes to a halt.
恒创工程技术研究协会（英文名 Hengchuang Engineering Technology Research Association，简称HETRA）于2018年4月在香港特别行政区依法注册成立，是一家由工程全领域的资深工程师、学者与行业管理者共同发起的非营利性国际组织。Hengchuang Engineering Technology Research Association (HETRA) was lawfully registered in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in April 2018. It is a non-profit international organization jointly initiated by senior engineers, scholars, and industry managers across the full engineering field.
HETRA不预设任何工程子方向，我们的视野涵盖：土木与建筑、机械与制造、电气与自动化、化工与材料、能源与动力、交通与物流、水利与市政、环境与生态、信息与控制——共九大工程子领域。我们不说自己"专注于某某工程"，因为真正复杂的工程问题，从来不会只停留在一个子领域的边界内。HETRA does not preset any single engineering direction. Our vision covers nine major engineering subfields: civil engineering and construction, machinery and manufacturing, electrical engineering and automation, chemical engineering and materials, energy and power, transportation and logistics, water conservancy and municipal engineering, environment and ecology, and information and control. We do not say that we focus on one specific type of engineering, because truly complex engineering problems never remain within the boundary of a single subfield.
创始团队在长期的工程实践与研究中，共同观察到一个现象：工程行业里，子领域之间的协作远比想象中困难。规范体系各自独立，评审口径各有标准，术语体系互不相通——一个需要土木、电气、环境三方协同的项目，光是让三方坐到同一张桌子上讲同一种话，就要花掉大半年。Through long-term engineering practice and research, the founding team observed one shared phenomenon: collaboration among subfields in the engineering industry is far more difficult than people imagine. Standards systems are independent, review criteria differ, and terminology systems do not communicate with one another - for a project requiring civil, electrical, and environmental collaboration, simply getting all three parties to sit at the same table and speak the same language can take more than half a year.
一座桥，从来不是土木一个专业能独立建成的。A bridge can never be built independently by civil engineering alone.
这是协会发起函中的一句话，后来被刻在协会档案的扉页。HETRA的存在，正是要回应这句话背后的真相——工程的进步，发生在专业的边界上。This sentence appeared in the founding letter of the Association and was later engraved on the title page of the Association archives. The existence of HETRA is precisely a response to the truth behind that sentence: engineering progress happens at the boundaries between disciplines.
协会以"恒心持守、跨域协同、创造赋能"为核心理念。这三个词之间有先后顺序：先有恒心，才谈得上跨域；先有跨域的实际协作，才谈得上创造赋能。The Association takes "steadfast persistence, cross-domain collaboration, and creativity-enabled empowerment" as its core philosophy. These three ideas have an order: only with persistence can cross-domain work be discussed; only with real cross-domain collaboration can creativity-enabled empowerment be discussed.
让每一个工程子领域的进步都能被其他子领域看见、学习与借鉴；让每一项跨专业协作的成果都能被系统沉淀；让每一位工程人，无论资历深浅，都能在这里找到同路人。To make progress in every engineering subfield visible, learnable, and referable to other subfields; to ensure every result of cross-disciplinary collaboration is systematically preserved; and to help every engineering professional, regardless of seniority, find fellow travelers here.
截至2025年，恒创已汇聚1400余名会员，覆盖19个国家和地区，与超过90家工程设计院、施工单位与研究机构建立合作。我们仍在路上。As of 2025, HETRA has gathered more than 1,400 members across 19 countries and regions and established cooperation with more than 90 engineering design institutes, construction organizations, and research institutions. We are still on the road.
通过恒创工程技术卓越奖，表彰工程全领域做出突出贡献的个人与团队。Through the Hengchuang Engineering Technology Excellence Award, we recognize individuals and teams that have made outstanding contributions across the full engineering field.
独立运作工程专家体系，为重大工程提供独立咨询与评审意见。We operate an independent engineering expert system to provide independent consultation and review opinions for major engineering projects.
管理课题立项、研究与成果评审，并输出行业技术建议书。We manage project approval, research, and results review, and issue industry technical recommendation documents.
系统沉淀和开放分享经受过实战检验的重大工程案例。We systematically preserve and openly share major engineering cases that have been tested in real practice.

总部+代表处模式，华南代表处与东盟代表处支撑跨区域工程协作。Through a headquarters plus representative office model, the South China Representative Office and the ASEAN Representative Office support cross-regional engineering collaboration.
