工程行业最宝贵的财富，不是课堂上的教材，也不是实验室里的数据，而是那些真正在现场发生过、经受过时间与载荷检验的案例。可惜的是，这些案例大多被锁在各自的工程单位档案室里，新一代工程师想学，也没处学。The most valuable assets in engineering are not classroom textbooks or laboratory data, but cases that truly happened on site and were tested by time and load. Unfortunately, most of these cases are locked in the archives of individual engineering organizations, leaving the next generation of engineers with nowhere to learn from them.
2020年9月，HETRA启动了工程案例库开放计划。目标只有一个：把工程行业分散在各处的重大案例系统性地整理、收录、开放出来，让每一个后来者都能有据可查。In September 2020, HETRA launched the open plan for the Engineering Case Library. It has one goal: to systematically organize, archive, and open major engineering cases scattered across the industry, so that every later practitioner has evidence to consult.
截至2025年4月，工程案例库已收录案例As of April 2025, the Engineering Case Library has archived 500余例more than 500 cases，覆盖九大工程子领域。会员可检索和查阅案例全文，公众可检索案例摘要。, covering the nine engineering subfields. Members can search and read full case texts, while the public can search case abstracts.
